I am proud to have been elected, after spending a year on the council as a co-opted councillor. I look forward to caring and working for all residents in Thornbury in the coming 4 years. I value receiving feedback and hearing ideas about how to make Thornbury a vibrant and welcoming town now and for the future.
I have lived in Thornbury for over 20 years and very much enjoy the facilities and lifestyle offered locally.
I have had a career in public services.
I enjoy gardening, cycling, walking and visiting my far flung family.
Recently, I have dedicated my time to a range of voluntary and community organisations, including chair of governors of a primary school, a welfare rights organisation, an arts organisation as well as involvement in my local residents association. My priority now will be to ensure the town council delivers for Thornbury, while delivering high quality services and value for money.
