Opportunity for Summer Mobile Vendor

In line with our Mobile Vendors on Town Council Land Policy, the Town Council is seeking to license an ice cream van to operate on the Mundy playing fields during the Summer months only from 2023 to 2025 inclusive.

Permission to operate will be given to one vendor only and the licence will be granted for a period of 3 years. Bidders will be considered on the basis of how frequently/regularly they intend to be available on site, environmental factors and any appropriate governance (e.g. insurances, hygiene certification). An annual payment in excess of £1,100 will be required to be made to the Town Council in consideration of this licence.

The vendor will be required to take adequate steps to minimise the litter created from the products they sell.  This requirement, as well as the general conduct of the vendor, will be monitored by Council grounds staff.

• How frequently/regularly you intend to be available on site
• An environmental statement
• Any relevant food hygiene certificates
• Public liability insurance certificate
• The annual amount you are bidding to pay for the licence (must be in excess of £1,100 per annum)
