Bench Installed for Allan Burberry
At the end of November, the Town Council was pleased to dedicate a bench in memory of Allan Burberry, to recognise his long association with the Town Council and the environment of the town. Allan sat on the Environment Committee for over 20 years and was part of the team that installed the signs on the Streamside Walks. He was part of the team additionally that worked on Filnore Woods.
Family members and Councillors attended the event, sowed some wildflower seed around the bench and participated in a tree planting ceremony on the ridge in Filnore Woods.
