The District, Town and Parish Councils elections will be held on 4 May 2023.
Briefing sessions for prospective candidates and election agents are going to be held on the following dates:
Wednesday, 22 February 2023 at 12.30pm to 1.30pm – TEAMS meeting
Thursday, 23 February 2023 at 5.30pm to 6.30pm – TEAMS meeting
Monday, 6 March 2023 at 2pm to 3pm – Kingswood Council Chamber
Thursday, 9 March 2023 at 4pm to 5pm – Kingswood Council Chamber
The sessions will cover:
- Election timetable
- nomination papers – common errors and how to avoid them,
- appointments for delivery times and process for informal checks
- summary of the process if validly nominated and
- a brief outline of legislative changes for the May elections
