Shopping

For its size, Thornbury has a large number of shops with free car parking. The historic High Street with its variety of shops etc. many housed in the original buildings. On Saturdays there is an open air market.

St Mary's centre is linked to the High Street offering traffic free shopping with an attractive blend of modern stores and cottage shops. It takes on an especially vibrant life on the first and third Thursday of each month when it is transformed by a farmers market offering a wonderful selection of fresh local produce.
