Poulterbrook

Having aquired land known as Pouterbrook which runs adjacent to the Mundy Playing Fields, council is now investigating the possibility of providing two more much needed football pitches for the town.

It is hoped that there will be an environmtntal area at one end and clearance work for this has begun.

Land at Eastlands

Thornbury Town Council has secured, on lease, from South Gloucestershire Council a small piece of land bounded by Eatsland Avenue, North East Road, North Road and Severn View Drive.  This will noe remain public open space fr the term of the lease. Council is now working with the residents of the area to look at the possibility of installing play equipment on this piece of land.
