| The town of Thornbury is a lively place, and very few days pass without an organised event of some description taking place. From classical concerts to line dancing, from fun runs to jumble sales, the choice is wide. Some events, however, have become firmly established favorites and are worthy of individual mention. The Thornbury Arts festival takes place in April/May each year, the November Fireworks display held at the Mundy Playing fields, and also St Georges day and Rememberance Sunday parades. |
